About Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV)
Founded in 1982 in Peoria, Arizona, Christ’s Church of the Valley is a non-denominational Christian megachurch with multiple locations. Each location includes a large auditorium area for Sunday services that seats 1,400 to 4,500 (depending on the location) and youth ministries for various ages. Most campuses also include coffee shops, cafés, and outdoor patio areas. Some locations offer services in Spanish and ASL.
“Since we’re in Arizona, we have really nice outdoor areas at our campuses,” said Alana De Luna, who works in Construction Interior Design for Christ’s Church of the Valley. “We have places for people to hang out with dining table sets, lawn furniture, yard games, ping pong, and basketball. People gather before and after services in these areas. It’s amazing to just sit back and see how much CCV has grown.”

Growth & Remodeling
For several years in a row, Christ’s Church of the Valley (affectionately nicknamed CCV) has landed on the list of the biggest megachurches in America.1,2 In 2025, it was ranked as the fastest-growing megachurch in America and the third-largest megachurch in America. A megachurch is defined as having a regularly attending congregation of at least 2,000 people on one or more campuses. Christ’s Church of the Valley has an average weekend attendance of 48,796, with an 18% growth rate, year over year.
The continued growth at CCV means that new churches are being constructed every year. “We have several new campuses that will be constructed in the next few years, and a few more undergoing renovations in 2026,” said Alana De Luna.
Alongside new construction, CCV [Christ’s Church of the Valley] is also steadily renovating the churches to keep them up to date and attractive. “We love Bertolini chairs. CCV has 18 locations, and we have Bertolini chairs in 16 of them. They’re sturdy and work great in high-traffic environments,” said Alanna De Luna, who works in Construction Interior Design at Christ’s Church of the Valley. “Ideally, we overorder the chairs so we have extras on hand for those times when we’re filled to capacity, such as Christmas and Easter when we can reach numbers as high as 4,000 at our largest campus.”
